Opening sequences based on news stories

86 year old catches burglar with her crutch
A 86 year old battles with a burglar when the criminal attempts to invade her home. Gwyneth Davies bravely fought the criminal with her crutch and made him sit on a stool until the police arrived. 

A man slowly walks towards a house, dressed fully in black and has a mask to disguise his identity. He breaks in though the window and enters. Meanwhile, the owner of the house hears noises downstairs and decides to investigate. The old women quietly eases down the stairs clutching her weapon of choice for protection. The dark figure downstairs is under the impression that the house is empty until the 86 year old pounces from no where and battles with the criminal when they come face to face. 

6 year old boy misses bus and takes his mums car instead 
A boy of 6 years of age decides to steal his mothers car and takes it for a ride. He weaved in and out of traffic until he hit a utility pole. 

It opens with a dramatic and high paced car chase scene, which follows the police pursuing a reckless driver. Set on the motorway the driver reaks havoc by swerving in and out of traffic at full speed. However the police are not far behind as they attempt to put this driver behind bars. Unexpectedly the driver crashes into a utility pole. The police warily move towards the car only to find an innocent looking 6 year old boy behind the wheel. 

Haiti earthquake 
Haiti suffer from a earthquake that tragically kills many.

A survivor of the Haitian earthquake goes back to his home that has been destroyed and is reminded of the horrible ordeal that took place there. He walks towards the rubble that used to be his home and breaks down in tears. He then has a flashback of his experience in the Haitian earthquake and how he got through obstacles to be a survivor.
